It's a brave new world out there and humanity is waking up and becoming more spiritual by the minute. Deepak has a million followers on Twitter and the light is permeating the planet stronger and more powerfully than ever, or is it?
More and more spiritual groups and "leaders" (whatever that means) talk about Love, heck, even David Icke is talking about Love, after he has instilled fear in people's hearts around the globe for decades with his doom and gloom alien controlled government mumbo jumbo.
It's good though that even he is starting to talk about Love.
I just have a simple question for you: How do you feel?
No really. How do you feel?
I recently asked this question of the checkout lady at my favorite grocery store and she asked me if I want a nice answer or the truth (obviously, she doesn't know me very well yet).
She proceeded to tell me that she felt horrible, that she saw footage of the leaking oil pipe and she was devastated.
It struck her at her core and and she was writing to congress to get them to move their fat asses to stop the insanity.
We are facing the worst environmental disaster ever and yes, we can blame the politicians or BP or any other institutions and corporations and individuals or go follow conspiracy theorists from the relatively harmless to the whacko, but who really created this disaster?
We asked this very same question of the Bone Spirits yesterday, the first of four questions we are presenting to them.
(We'll share the Bone Throw Ceremony with you soon. For now let me just say that their answer was very clear and didn't leave any room for interpretation as to who created this disaster).
First though, let me come back to my original question: How do you feel?
And, what are the thoughts which both create and accompany your feelings all day long?
No, I don't just mean what do you feel and think right now, I'm asking how do you feel every second of every day, every waking hour of your life?
What do you think and feel about the people you meet during your day? What do you think and feel about the people you work with, about the stranger who does something you don't agree with?
When you watch the news, when you read the paper, what do you think and how does that make you feel?
Do you know the beauty and value of Love and friendship or do you take those things for granted and consequently treat them that way, tossing people aside in your life whenever your masks tell you to?
What is the babble that goes on in your head all about every second throughout the day?
Is it truly about Love and the extraordinary beauty of life, or are you groveling in the psychic muck with something, anything, all the time?
Are you walking with Love and joy microsecond to microsecond or are you full of judgment about literally everything and is your judgment often mixed with fear or suspicion, at times even anger and hate?
What do you think and feel when you are hearing about all the insanities going on in the world?
How do you feel about your spouse, your children, your neighbor, your exes, your politicians, your celebrities?
How many degrading comments have you posted online about other people or other peoples work?
How do you feel about people thinking and believing differently than you do?
How do you feel about yourself?
How much time of your waking hours do you spend throwing energetic black darts?
How much fear and resentment or anger and hate are you throwing into the world at any and all of these people?
What do you think and feel about the state of the environment and humanity's future?
Do you blindly believe what the evangelist crazies are trying to feed us every day?
Do you believe there is nothing but doom and gloom in our future?
Well, guess what, our thoughts and feelings do create the universe. Every thought and feeling is a prayer, a request to Creation to bring that thought into physical reality.
We become what we think about most of the time.
Not only that, but we create what we think about most of the time, too.
It's really great to hear more and more people talking about Love, but how do we stop our habitual babble and truly live Love microsecond to microsecond of each and every waking hour of our days?
And how would that effect and change our lives, the lives of the people around us and with it the entire world?
Can you do that?
Can you even imagine doing that?
Can you imagine living a life without judgment, suspicion, fear, anger, hate? Can you imagine not having any of these kinds of thoughts and feelings about anyone or anything?
Can you turn your attention away from the lure of these feelings and emotions and truly walk with Love, not just talk about it or consider it?
For eons we've been told that we are those puny little humans who do not really have any power or abilities to influence anything.
Could you imagine that as individuals, we are such powerful entities that it takes only one of us to change the world?
So could you imagine what would happen if – no – when we all truly wake up in droves to the true nature of our power and potential and band together and really decide to change the world, really, truly decide to walk with Love microsecond to microsecond every waking hour of our lives for the rest of our lives?
Well, the time is now. It's no more "sometime in the future I will," or "maybe I can see myself really making an effort doing this eventually." It's now.
In fact, it's now or never.
Here is a challenge for you. If you truly believe that Love will change the world, take a pen and notepad with you everywhere you go, (even put it on your nightstand) and every time you catch yourself thinking and feeling not so nice things, make a short note as to what it was you were thinking and feeling (except while you're driving of course).
Each time you jot down a note you can then turn your attention back to what you want to focus on creating in the world.
No, don't tell yourself you'll just make a mental note of it, that you don't need a notepad, use the notepad.
That way, at the end of the day you can have a list in your hand, literally, and you can see where you have had your attention and energy most of the time. You can see what you have been creating.
We are receiving so many emails about what prayers and meditations we should all do to heal the oil spill, to heal the world, and if that's something you find works for you that's great.
I still challenge you to observe your own thoughts and feelings every second of every waking hour because those are the most powerful, the most efficient, meditations and prayers we send out into to the world, indeed the universe, continuously all the time and if we manage to change those we will change everything.
So just try the notepad for 30 days, sort of like a 30 day challenge. You might be surprised where your attention is seeping away to and how much of it you can take back in those 30 days.
Go use the notepad.
Love and Song,
Helmut
