Some of the most powerful things can seem surprisingly simple.

I have heard Kay talk about that in her experience the Ceremony of finding your Song is among the most powerful Ceremonies she knows, and believe me, she knows some magic. Yet so many of us let ourselves be fooled at times by the simplicity of this Ceremony.

Learning about the dynamics of attention and power is very similar.

Throughout the Bone Throwing series the Spirits point out over and over that it's all about where we put our attention.

Thanks for sharing some memory from that Teacher Training. Seems like a simple question, but understanding it changes everything.

Thanks also for your kind words about the Hetakas' and Kay's integrity. It still doesn't cease to amaze me to never see Kay waver when it comes to her and the integrity of the teachings.

Hi Mazarine,

Kay has studied the oral mystery teachings from the temples of Isis and Osiris. There are no books about those teachings, not to her knowledge.
There are some books about Egyptian tradition and culture, but Kay never expresses much confidence about any of them as to their accuracy of representing the reality and truth from that culture.
I'll se if I can find some info and will share if I do.

I have seen in my own experience that the power of where we put our attention is very great.

It appears miraculous when it works.

It can seem too simple when it is explained.

Hearing this repeated by people whom I respect a lot, such as you and Kay, makes it easier to change my conditioning and focus my attention where I choose to go.

I appreciate Flying Cows and your discussion concerning humanity's tendency to forget the power of attention. Our natural abilities to be alive and clear in our focus gets very little attention in our world.

I remember Kay asking one afternoon years ago in a teacher training class, "Where does real power lie?" It was an intriguing question. After we participants responded with our answers, she went on to present how real power is wrapped up in how we use our attention. Wherever our attention is put, that is where the energy goes. Where the energy goes is what we create.

This at first sounded too simple. Such power seemed too immediately available. Could it really be that my attention has that kind of power? It was too much to fathom.

Having observed my own and others' use of attention over many years, I am very grateful that the Hetakas and Kay have gone to such great lengths to protect the teachings of Ka Ta See. The knowledge is invaluable now for experiencing our true identities and learning how to use our power so that we can together create a new and wondrous way to live with our planet, full of love and beauty.
