Did I Just Find This Rope Or Did I Just Lose My Horse?

cowgirl with ropeThe other day I called Victoria and she told me she is so busy that she just found herself holding a rope in her hands and wondering if, you guessed it, “she just found this rope or lost her horse”.

We are that kind of busy, but we don’t buy into overwhelm, the feeling that there is so much to do that it’s way too much.

We decide to stay in our Song and do one thing at a time, take one step at a time, patience and persistence, with Song and joy and love and passion and happy, lots of happy.

So I’m writing for two reasons.

One, I want to share with and assure you that we will continue. We will most definitely continue with the work on Let’s Make Song and the live calls and the posts and stories and a number of new and wonderful offerings.

And two, I wanted to share with you a welcome letter I just sent to Kay’s new 4 Year Course students. More about that below.

We received an e-mail asking if we will continue with our offerings and it was exciting to get that e-mail since it shows that people really enjoy receiving what we are offering, and that really feeds our Song and passion.

But, as most everyone, we are really busy. Kay just taught a Level 5 Class from her ongoing course series, she will be teaching an in-person Teacher Training weekend coming up and shortly after another 1st Level Class from her new 4 Year Course Series. And, Victoria and I are part of all these classes.

And that’s all in addition to our daily work with clients and the necessary regular daily business tasks.

We’re not complaining a bit, it’s exiting and wonderful to be able to do all this amazing work and studies.

Just so you know, you will hear more from us again soon.

And here is the “Welcome Letter” I mentioned above.

It was originally only intended for students of the new course series, but we received such high praise in response to it, that Kay asked if I would post it on our site.

Enjoy.

Love and Song,

Helmut

Welcome letter to the new 4 Year Course
“Setting The World In Balance”

Thank you for your courage, adventurous spirit, your trust and your commitment to study with Kay the teachings of Katasee.

Try as we may, there just aren’t any words to fully describe what gifts and wonders await you.

Humanity is changing, the world is changing, in a way it always has been doing that, but we have come to a place where our old ways of living and being in the world don’t fit anymore.

As individuals and as a group we are ready to explore our
potential, to explore the possibilities of who and what we are and to understand the wonders, mysteries and secrets surrounding us.

You all have joined this course for a reason. Some of you are really aware of what that is. Some just have this longing, this desire pulling them forward. And some of you have a knowingness that Kay, that Katasee, has something enormous to offer to your life.

Some, or maybe all of you, at least in part, are here to help with the changes that are ahead, to help heal who and what we are as a species and to help heal the world.

All of this starts with healing self, always.

Within this tradition everything begins, is based on and comes from knowing self, knowing your Song.

Throughout these 4 years you will learn a tremendous amount about your Song, about who you are and the gifts you have within you.

Domano and Chea shared with Kay that the best thing we can do for ourselves and the world is to “let ourselves be happy”.

Song is being happy, it is being “in-love” all the time.

Sharing this joy, this excitement and love for life is the best, the most healing gift we can give to ourselves and the world.

That is one of the goals of this course to move as individuals and as a group to a place of sharing our excitement, our aliveness and beauty with ourselves and the world.

And, as enormous as these gifts are, at the same time, in a very real sense they are just the beginning.

Exploring, knowing, owning your Song, healing yourself, finding the joy that is you, that is your natural state and living it all the time, is the place from which we can share true healing with others and the world and it is also the place where our true magic and powers as individuals lie.

But, there is always a but, we all start at the place we are currently at, and that place is, for most of us to a larger or lesser extent, our modern western life.

And as much as many of us have managed to create love and joy and beauty in our lives, at the same time these lives are also often complicated with distractions, blind beliefs, convictions and confusions, and, not to forget, very real physical, mental, emotional hardship.

Simple put, many of the things most of us really would love to change, which is at least in part, why many of you have joined this course.

To put it in another way, you have embarked on a journey to wake up, to completely and fully wake up. To live a life of clarity and focus and purpose without the distraction of shoulds and blind beliefs and confusion.

That, by its very nature, brings with it that our old habits and ways of living will question our decision and they will not wait until you are here is Santa Fe and we are gathering for class and Kay instructs you in the studies and practices.

Your habits will begin to motivate you to question your decision the moment you make the decision, the moment you make the commitment.

I have received e-mails from some of you sharing that you are having a hard time, that you are going through some especially confusing and difficult issues.

When you commit to waking up on this level, your old habits will make you question your decision, there is no doubt about it and it is your habits’ belief that it’s never to soon to start with motivating you to question your decision.

Should this happen to you here are some things to remember:

1.    Domano told Kay that waking up, learning about Song and creating YOUR clarity and purpose in your live will take as long and will be as difficult as you believe it will be.
2.    Always go back to your Song. Remember your Song, your beauty, your wondrous aliveness. Go do the Ceremony of Finding Your Song as often as you need to. Remember your Song, the joy of that moment from the Ceremony, throughout the day. This maybe faint at first, but the more you put your attention to it the more familiar and exiting it will become.
3.    If there is anything you need, we are here to help.

For many of you, the concept of Song, what it means to know Song, to live it, to own it, to be it again, is still rather new.

But learning it, getting to know it, getting to know yourself more and more, will ultimately help you to deal with the nagging thoughts and mental tapes of your old habits much more easily, until they eventually go completely quiet and there, like magic is your focus and purpose and you see the enormous beauty of it all and realize that it was right there all the time.

As Domano shared with Kay, Song is the torchlight that will guide you through the roller coaster ride of a spiritual journey.

We are here to help you find that, to help you know your Song and own it and develop it more and more as that guiding light in your own life.

Know yourself and you will know the world and you will no longer be tossed around by the psychic winds and blind beliefs that others throw around you. You will know what is real and what isn’t and, perhaps most importantly, you will know why you came here, what is the purpose of your life, and you will eventually live that purpose. And, for those of you who are already living that purpose, you will live it with a passion and depth that you have not known before.

This ended up being much longer than I intended it to be when I started, but I hope it helps, especially those of you who are going through those initial struggles.

Love and Song,

Helmut
